Project Description
This project was developed as a graduation requirement for Tecnológico de Monterrey. It involved creating a short film that combined live-action scenes with 3D and 2D animated elements integrated during post-production. I managed every stage of the project, from pre-production and production to final editing and visual effects in post.
Process
Post-production relied primarily on After Effects for integrating 2D visual effects and on Nuke for precise compositing and integration of 3D elements. Overall editing, color grading, and sound design were handled in DaVinci Resolve. Blender and Unreal Engine were used for creating the 3D assets.
Process
Throughout the project, I refined key skills acquired over the years, particularly in optimizing pre-production processes for a smoother, more efficient shoot. I learned to carefully analyze each shot and location in advance, anticipating specific needs that would streamline post-production. In the final phase, effective organization and optimization of both time and available resources were crucial to achieving a high-quality technical and visual result.
